A reminder that even the most meticulously laid-out paths can be disrupted in an instant. My plans and dreams of a lifelong military career were abruptly interrupted as I not only had to navigate through rehabilitation, but I was also faced with the reality of medical discharge.

The transition from military life to civilian life was a daunting endeavour. I found myself navigating a plethora of emotions, loss, uncertainty, and the challenge of redefining my identity. But amidst the darkness a spark of determination emerged, and I realised that this setback could be the set up for something greater.

In my search for purpose, I stumbled upon the world of cosmetic tattooing. Initially it seemed like a random stroke of luck, but it soon became clear that this was my calling.
