At Divinity Aesthetics, we believe beauty is about more than the treatments we offer. It’s about the confidence you carry, the connections we share, and the community we build together. That’s why this year, we’re dedicating our hearts and hands to a cause that’s deeply personal to me: fundraising for Horses for Heroes.

This program isn’t just something I admire from the outside—it’s one I’ve experienced first-hand.

Some of you may know before discovering my love for Cosmetic Tattooing I served in the Australian Army. During my time serving I sustained an injury that meant that I could no longer do my job correctly. During my recovery from the injury, I was introduced to Horses4Heroes, and it became a safe space for me to heal. Working with horses helped me rebuild trust in myself, gain strength, and find calm in the midst of uncertainty. The impact was profound, and it’s something I’ll carry with me forever.

Now, standing on the other side of that journey, I’m so grateful to be in a position to give back. Supporting Horses4Heroes feels like a full circle moment. Not only because of the role it played in my recovery, but because it reminds me of what community is truly about: lifting each other up when it matters most.

So this September, Divinity Aesthetics is proudly raising funds in support of Horses4Heroes, an incredible organisation dedicated to improving the lives of veterans, first responders, and their families.

Horse4Heroes is an equine therapy program designed to support Australian Defence Force (ADF) members experiencing mental health challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Participants in this program work on building trust, cultivating a sense of calm, and developing skills to navigate life after service.

We pledge to donate 5% of every service booked, along with 100% of the proceeds from raffle ticket sales, donated directly to Horses4Heroes.

One of the most incredible parts of this fundraiser has been seeing how our community has come together.

When we first started planning, we reached out to our fellow local business owners to see if they’d like to be involved and the response was overwhelming. So many generously donated prizes to our pool, showing just how much heart exists in our local Taringa community.

It reminded me that community is about more than just where we live. It’s about how we show up for one another. Every business that contributed, every client who books a service, every person who shares our fundraiser online, it all adds up to something powerful.

At Divinity Aesthetics, we’ve always believed that beauty is best when it’s shared. That’s why this fundraiser means so much. It’s not only about raising money for Horses4Heroes, it’s about strengthening the bonds between us, celebrating generosity, and proving that when we come together, we can create something truly meaningful.
